I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. For the past five years, I’ve been pursuing my passion for helping others become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident versions of themselves. My coaching philosophy is centered around sustainable, individualized approaches that empower my clients to build strength, improve their health, develop a healthy relationship with food, and create a lifelong connection with fitness and nutrition.
My mission is to help clients build strong physiques while also supporting their overall health, mindset, confidence, and lifestyle. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle growth, glute development, stage prep, posing, improving confidence in the gym, or simply feeling like yourself again, I create a plan specifically to your body, lifestyle, and goals.
My own fitness journey began after moving from Colorado to Florida shortly after graduating high school. I had played competitive volleyball for seven years and needed a new outlet for physical activity. I decided to train for my first marathon and spent nearly two years preparing for it, but after 10 months of focused training, I suffered a serious SI joint injury in my hip that left me unable to run for at least six months. Although I was devastated, I was cleared to begin weight training during recovery. With the encouragement of my incredibly motivating (and very jacked) dad, I started lifting weights and within months, something completely changed. I discovered a passion unlike anything I had ever experienced before. When the six months passed and I was finally able to run again, I never picked my running shoes back up, and instead bought my first weight lifting shoes and I still use my white high top Converse to this day.
As I continued lifting, strangers began asking if I had ever considered competing, and that’s where my bodybuilding journey truly began. After only a year and a half of training, I became so passionate about weightlifting and its transformative impact on my life that I dedicated all my spare time outside of school to studying for my personal training certification.
I fell in love with the process, the discipline, the confidence, and the empowerment that bodybuilding gave me, and I knew I wanted to help others experience that same transformation. It felt like discovering something so life-changing that I needed to share it with as many people as possible.
In January 2022, after competing twice and struggling to find the right coach, I began working with Derek. From the very beginning, he saw potential in me that I hadn’t fully seen in myself yet. Working with a coach who was knowledgeable, motivating, supportive, and genuinely invested in my growth completely changed my perspective on what quality coaching can do for someone — not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Through my own experiences as both an athlete and coach, I understand the importance of having guidance, accountability, support, and someone who truly believes in you. My goal is to be that person for my clients while helping them build a stronger body, stronger mindset, and greater confidence both inside and outside the gym.
